UCLA fMRI Reinterpretation Study for Adolescents (In-Person)
We are looking for same-gendered friend pairs ages 13-15 for an ongoing research project. The goal of the project is to learn about how people think about emotions. You will be asked to come to our lab at UCLA with a close friend to fill out surveys and complete an fMRI scan. Your friend will be asked to fill out surveys, record brief audio clips, and complete some computer tasks. The participant who completes the fMRI scan will spend about 2 hours in the study, and will be compensated $120, and the participant who records audio clips will spend about 1 hours in the study, and be compensated $75.

UCLA Supporting Emerging Adulthood Study (Hybrid)
The Supporting Emerging Adulthood Study (SEAS) is a longitudinal research project aimed to learn more about the transition to adulthood. For this voluntary study, 17-19 year-old teens in their last year of high school or an equivalent GED program will undergo three annual zoom lab sessions, 9 quarterly zoom interviews, and two MRIs (one in the first year of participation, and another in the third year). If available, caregivers will also be asked to answer some questionnaires.
This is a voluntary research study, so caregivers or teens are free to withdraw from the study at any time. Teens will be compensated up to $205 for completing all aspects of the study.
Interested caregivers or teens can see more information on the SEAS website, or may reach out to the SEAS team at uclaseas@gmail.com. Please include your name, a preferred email and phone number, and times (including time zone or state of residence) that work best to have a researcher contact you to tell you more about our study. You can also fill the form out below with your contact information and a member of our team will reach out to you!
